The new Fluke 287/289 true-RMS digital multimeters were designed for
the highest demands
- Official Fluke Service Center
- ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory
- 2-year warranty on all new devices
- Delivery in 3-5 working days
The new Fluke 287/289 true-RMS digital multimeters were designed to meet the highest demands. These instruments replace the popular 180 series, but offer the same performance features and more.
The two multimeters enable unattended data logging and trend display without prior data transfer to the PC.
Thanks to trend capture, engineers and technicians can identify problems faster than before, for example during troubleshooting and predictive maintenance.
A particularly large display graphically presents the measurement results, and the operation has been significantly improved by the extended user interface available in 7 languages with integrated help (i-Info button) and interface with programmable buttons.
Both multimeters can perform unattended recording of multiple measurements and in mobile use.
The log data can be analyzed without prior data transfer to a PC. Fluke offers a lifetime warranty for both devices.
Special performance features of the Fluke 287/289 models
- Basic accuracy: 0.025 % at DC voltage, 100 kHz AC bandwidth
- Large 1/4-VGA dot matrix display with a display range of 50,000 digits.
- Data logging function with extended memory
- TrendCapture allows recorded measurements to be displayed graphically directly on the measuring device without the use of a PC.
- Enhanced min/max/average function: all data on one screen, including start and elapsed time.
- Press the "i" button to access the integrated help.
- Lifetime warranty
Other features of the Fluke 289
- 50-ohm resistance range (two measuring leads) with a resolution of 1 mOhm, 10 mOhm
- Low-pass filter for precise voltage and frequency measurement on drive controls with variable speed
- LoZ function: Measurement function with low input impedance to avoid phantom voltages
The two Fluke measuring devices offer very high accuracy and a display range of 50,000 digits.
The graphic display with 320 x 240 pixels can show the results of multiple measurements and the trend display.
The display also features a two-stage backlight and offers context-sensitive built-in help. Device settings are customizable, saving time for repetitive measurements. Multiple memory options and automatic time stamping allow for convenient retrieval of data from on-site measurements.
A PC interface ensures easy data transfer.
With the optionally available FlukeView® Forms PC software, you can document, save and analyze measurement data and present it in professionally designed documents.
True RMS measurement of voltage and current
Fluke's new multimeters can store up to 15,000 readings. True-RMS voltage and current measurements are possible for precise measurement of non-linear signals.
The measuring devices have a capacitance range of 50 mF and can measure up to 10 A (or 20 A for a duration of 30 seconds).
Peak value detection can record short-term transients down to 250 µs.
A relative value mode for subtracting the measuring lead resistance in low-resistance or capacitance measurements is available. Both devices feature a battery life of up to 200 hours.
The Fluke 287/289 multimeters offer a bandwidth of 100 kHz for AC voltage and current measurements and a basic accuracy of 0.025 % for DC voltage.
A function for temperature measurement via type K thermocouple is included.
Fluke multimeters are characterized by robustness and a lifetime warranty.,
Safety specifications, a long
Long lifespan and low operating costs: The Fluke 287/289 multimeters can withstand dangerous voltage spikes of up to 8,000 V without damage.
Furthermore, the measuring instruments meet the safety standards according to CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600V in accordance with the requirements of the standard EN 61010.
The measuring device is suitable for troubleshooting in electronics, process automation, energy distribution and electromechanical systems.
